    ** Some older bottles started with a 3yr test cycle but then the DOT allowed them to switch to 5yrs if they have met the conditions above. HUH? Basically, if your bottle has not been tested after the **2001 date, then you must first use the 3yr cycle. Once it is tested, then it switches to the 5yr cycle.
